Report Nature Field Trip In Toraja Regency

Day One

Hello friends, dear readers. I am Muhammad. Yusuf Purnama, commonly called Yusuf, I am a Makassar tourism polytechnic student in a study tour and business travel program. So, I want to share my experience during Nature's field visit on October 21-23, namely 3D2N (3 days 2 nights)



for this tour, it is the same as the previous tours, where this tour is a learning process, because for my own major, not only studying in the classroom, even outside the classroom like Oini tour is a teaching and learning process ...





The first day, at 7 o'clock in the morning, we all gathered at the Makassar tourism polytechnic. The activity in the morning before departure is a roll call, then proceed with the distribution of the Id-Card and continue each participant to put his bag into the trunk of the bus, then proceed with prayer and a group photo.












 The first visit, we went to Barru Regency, there we will have lunch together, the place is Kupa Beach. Where restaurant that provides dominant food is food that comes from the sea which is located Kupa beach.


   After lunch and pray in congregation, then we continue the journey to Enrekang district, the place we visited was called Bambangpuang, where this place is better known as Miss Nona, because when we get there we will be shown directly the beauty of the mountain which is high and very beautiful. to be seen.
 


There we were served with sweet tea and fried bananas while enjoying the beautiful scenery, there we and many friends took pictures or berselfi to make memories for us.

After dedicating time to have fun at bambangpuang, we continue the journey to Toraja district, which is our destination.



Arriving at the hotel, we immediately checked in to get into the room, not intermittently we were immediately informed to have dinner at the penyet ria chicken, the place to eat is not far from the hotel, we just walk to get to the food stall.
After dinner, we returned to the hotel and conducted an evaluation in preparation for tomorrow and then rested.
Day Two

After breakfast, we prepared ourselves to continue the tracking trip to Timenbayo, where we walked a great distance and a long time until finally we arrived at my mentor's restaurant. arrived at mentiro tiku, we had lunch there We also tried the Toraja food, called 'Papiong'
After lunch, we continued our tracking journey, during the trip we saw many traditional houses and tongkonan houses, many historical relics that we encountered.
On the other hand we met a lot of local people, especially for Mr. Matius, he really taught how to establish a kinship with the Toraja people even though we and Mr. Matius himself did not know him.

it is a grave in caves that have beautiful structures .



We spent about 20 minutes and then we went to todi silk weaving.
 
there, we saw a lot of weaving tools even though we didn't see the weaving directly. There,
not only silk weaving, but Toki is also the center of souvenirs such as bracelets, t-shirts, bags, pockets.
Next, we return to the hotel and prepare for dinner .
 
We had dinner at the cedar restaurant, which is one of the best restaurants in Toraja .



there, we had lots of fun, we sang songs together and danced together ... because it was our last night in Toraja. I will never forget that night.

The third day..
 
we had breakfast at the hotel and then loaded luggage to the bus.
 
finally we left the hotel and returned to makassar .

Before we returned, we visited KAA Toraja coffee. it is the center of toraja coffee, there are various
toraja coffees which have different flavors. like Robusta, Arabica and so on.


we can also buy toraja coffee for souvenirs.




Then, we drive to the Lakipadada statue.
it is the icon of the Regency of Toraja.


we spent about 20 minutes there, taking pictures and we headed to bambapuang in enrekang district.
just like the first day, we enjoyed the view with a cup of tea ... and noodles for 2 minutes.
 
 
next, we went to the empang terrace restaurant for lunch . ending with lunch, we immediately went to Barru
Regency to visit a typical Bugis house.  
 
We spent about 20 minutes and headed to the Sukasuka restaurant in Maros Regency for dinner.
 
and then we go back to Makassar ! 
 
finally after 3 days of fun with my classmates.
